Class Policies

Should you need to cancel or reschedule a class at Urban Spools, we require 72 hours notice.  A full refund will be issued or you may request a Class Credit to be used toward another class we offer.  If a cancellation is received less than 72 hours prior to the class, no refund or Class Credit will be issued.  This allows the teachers at Urban Spools to be fully prepared for the correct number of students and to allow for time to fill the slot in classes that often have a waiting list.

Join us for the Mini Alphabet Workshop & Sew Along! This is dedicated classroom times to review the pattern, work on your blocks, and shop coordinating fabrics. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a class and no formal instruction is provided in these sessions. All instruction and guidance will come from the workshops provided as part of the Mini Alphabet Workshop and Sew Along videos that is part of the AlisonGlass.com Workshop & Sew Along.

Our Block of the Month clubhouse is a monthly meeting to learn about all of the latest Urban Spools Block of the Month programs and more. Each month, there will be a quick discussion for that month's block for each different block of the month quilt. There are several different block of the month programs and we will discuss each one separately. You don't have to be participating in a current block of the month to attend this fun meeting. All are welcome!

This is an entry level class to sewing garments. This class is designed for Students to begin and complete a relaxed fit button-down shirt over (4) 3 hour sessions. It is a co-ed class that uses the Jensen or the Anna shirt patterns by Wardrobe By Me which you will receive on the first day of class. This class will cover how to create button holes, use interfacing and use the burrito method to create a double yoke which hides the seams and creates a professional finish to the inside of the shirt.

These feature front pleats and side pockets making them both stylish and functional while the waistband adds comfort and support. We are using the Cocoon or Pleated Pants pattern by Wardrobe by Me (women's sizes 0-24) (men waists 26-42).
