Class Policies

Should you need to cancel or reschedule a class at Urban Spools, we require 72 hours notice.  A full refund will be issued or you may request a Class Credit to be used toward another class we offer.  If a cancellation is received less than 72 hours prior to the class, no refund or Class Credit will be issued.  This allows the teachers at Urban Spools to be fully prepared for the correct number of students and to allow for time to fill the slot in classes that often have a waiting list.

Intimated by binding? Always scared that you are going to ruin your quilt on that dreaded last step? Well Binding Basics is the class for you! In this class, you will learn three different methods of binding. Not only will we go over how to make your binding, but also how to attach it, either by machine or by hand. We will talk about each technique and the different tools necessary for each.

"This stunning greenwork embroidery and patchwork quilt by SweetPea Designs has eighteen different blocks. The different blocks range in sizes - 2x6, 4x6, 2x10, 4x10, 6x6 and 6x10. To complete the quilt as shown you will need a hoop that is 6x10. You can use a 5x7 hoop but would only be able to make the blocks up to and including the 4x6 ones. This is a machine embroidery design. The blocks are sewn in the hoop and then joined and backed with your sewing machine."
