Longarm Quilting
Longarm quilting machines open up worlds of possibilities for first-time longarm quilters. With a larger workspace, quilters gain complete control over their compositions from beginning to end. And, the built-in stitch regulator ensures smooth, precise stitching for a harmonious finish.
In this class, you will learn the basics of longarm quilting. Learn how to properly load a quilt, thread the machine, adjust tensions, and operate the machine using several different free-motion quilting techniques.

Take our Intro to Sewing, Part 1: Machine Basics class and our Intro to Sewing, Part 2: In the Sewing Room class before taking this class. Must have basic knowledge of the quilting process. Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
