Level 2 Get Started: Garment Sewing Tops
Get started on more complex construction techniques as you further your skillset in garment sewing with yolks, cuffs, and more pattern adjustments. Level 2 is ideal for those with experience in completing a few patterns, aiming to refine pattern adjustments and advanced sewing techniques.
In this class, we will be focusing on three garment sewing construction techniques:
- Cuff / Collar Construction
- Yolk Construction
- Pattern Adjustments to shirt and sleeve lengths.
The pattern selected for this class is designed to fit men sizes 2XL - 4XL and women sizes 0 - 24.
PLEASE NOTE: Independent work outside of the classroom is a core part of Level 2 classes. If you are unable to complete construction tasks before each session, you will fall behind on hands-on construction. There are no make-up or refunds on missed sessions.

Shopping time will be provided in the first session for all additional materials that will be needed. We recommend budgeting $50. |

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
