Intro to Garment Sewing, Part 3: Sewing with Knits
Sewing knits on a sewing machine takes skill and practice. Continue growing your garment sewing experience through learning tips and tricks on how to sew with knit fabric on a sewing machine.
In this class, you will learn how to sew with knits on your sewing machine. To put these skills into practice, we will be sewing the Scout Tee pattern using knit fabric.
This class builds on skills learned in Intro to Garment Sewing, Part 1: The Basics and Intro to Garment Sewing, Part 2: Reading Patterns. It is required you take these courses or have equivalent experience prior to taking this class.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
