Level 2 Skills: The Quilted Jacket
Merge your love of quilting with your love of garment sewing! This jacket features batting for lining to provide breathable warmth. And, with Hong Kong seam finish, you'll have a polished look inside out.
In this class, we will be focusing on three garment sewing construction techniques:
- Quilted Fabric Construction
- Hong Kong Seam Finishing
- Pattern Adjustments
You will also be using the walking foot in this class for construction. If you do not have this foot, we will have it available for use on one of our Baby Lock Presto II machines. The pattern selected for this class is designed to fit women sizes 0 - 32.
PLEASE NOTE: Independent work outside of the classroom is a core part of Level 2 classes. If you are unable to complete construction tasks before each session, you will fall behind on hands-on construction. There are no make-up or refunds on missed sessions.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
