Intro to Needle Punch Embroidery
Needle Punch embroidery is a form of hand embroidery dating back hundreds of years that has gained a new audience in the modern crafting community. Join us to learn a fresh take on this fun and addicting technique!
In this class, you will learn how to transfer your pattern to cloth, thread the punch needle tool, and work the stitches to create your loops. We will be using an abstract sunset/sunrise design created by studio-koekoek to practice new skills.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
