Wynwood Robe
The Wynwood Robe from Liesl+Co is a luxurious robe for cozy time at home or as a layering piece for out on the street. Pattern chest/bust range from 33.5" to 46".
This piece features a simple shawl-collar that can be lengthened or shorted as you see fit. You can wear the robe for a cozy day at home or as a duster to wear during the day.
In this class, you will how to read the pattern and review the pattern construction tips and choose the elements of your robe design. You will learn the technique of adding pockets and steps involved to make a collar. You will also have the option of learning how to sew with rayon fabric. Based on how quickly we are able to get through pattern tracing and cutting, we may have an opportunity to start construction in class.
PLEASE NOTE: Students will have additional sewing tasks that will need to be completed outside of class. If you find yourself struggling with construction after class, you may take this class again. While students are cutting out their patterns in class, the instructor is available to assist with any questions you may have in completing your project.
