Sea Glass Quilt
Make a quilted wall hanging inspired by the tumbled glass found on the sands of both ocean and fresh water. Use your scraps, play with color and make something beautiful! This wall hanging is quilted with invisible thread as the stone like pieces ombre from blue to turquoise. Our sample finishes at 21" x 23" and is inspired by Exhausted Octopus, a local Texan Artist.
In this class you will learn how to arrange your scraps in color order, how to work with the Steam-A-Seam-2 product and how to free motion quilt with invisible thread.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
