Curved Piecing
Practice piecing blocks with curves while working your way through this beautiful modern and scrappy quilt pattern, The Shroom Garden from Love Sew Modern.
In this class, you will learn how to use the included paper templates and recommended construction advice to keep everything in place. You will learn how to piece a curve within a second curve, and how to attach sashing and cornerstones without trimming off excess fabric. We will guide you through how to organize your quilt top using the included coloring page with the pattern. We will also focus on constructing 1 of each block in this pattern.
The Shroom Garden quilt pattern is a modern, scrappy pattern with curved piecing on mushroom blocks. It is perfect for fabric scraps and is a great stash buster! If you plan on fussy cutting, you will need extra fabric. The Shroom Garden printed pattern from Love Sew Modern is included in the class cost.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you.
