Serger Project: Storage Cubes

Ages 15+

Must have a working knowledge of how to operate a serger.

All materials needed for this class can be purchased for an additional $60. If you opt to only pay for the class, you will need to bring:

• 3/4 yd of outer fabric
• 3/4 yd of inner fabric
• 1-7/8 yds of Pellon Peltex II Double Sided Fusible Ultra Firm Stabilizer
• 1 FQ of canvas fabric for the base lining
• 1 FQ for the double fold bias binding
• 1 yd of cotton webbing for the handle
• (1) 22 inch coil zipper

Additional items you will need but are offered at classroom stations include:

• Overlock Serger, Cover Stitch serger, or Combo Overlock / Cover Stitch Serger (if your serger is not a Baby Lock, bring your User Manual)
• Cording Foot
• Open Toe Foot or Clear Foot
• 15mm Double Fold Bias Binder
• Serger needles
• 4 cones of serger thread - neutral color
• Clover Wonder clips (included at classroom station)
• Fabric Marking tool (included at classroom station)
• Sewing gauge (included at classroom station)
• Ruler (included at classroom station)
• Shears (included at classroom station)
• Rotary Cutter (included at classroom station)
• Cutting Mat (included at classroom station)

Cancellation Policy

A Student may cancel a class registration via email (education@urbanspools.com) or by phone at 214-324-5755.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Any cancellations on the day of the class cannot be refunded or transferred.
