Level 1 Get Started: Garment Sewing Bottoms
Kick off your garment sewing journey with this essential class focused on bottoms. Learn the basics of garment construction, fabric selection, and fitting while creating pajama pants.
In this class, you will get a solid foundation in garment sewing as it relates to sewing garment bottoms. Learn how to take accurate body measurements and how to prep fabric for your project. This course is focuses on technique and process from start to finish, with a hands-on approach using a pajama pant pattern. The pattern selected for this class is unisex for hip sizes 38" - 54".

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Any cancellations on the day of the class cannot be refunded or transferred. PLEASE NOTE: This class covers multiple sessions. Ensure you are able to attend each session before registering. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
