Beginner Quilt Top Piecing: Fast Cutting with a Stripology Ruler

In this class, students will explore the full range of possibilities with the Stripology Ruler, learning how to maximize its potential from basic straight cuts and advanced angle cuts such as triangles, quarter squares, and flying geese. Master various features while cutting and sewing the top of a beautiful table runner that finishes at 14.5 inch x 35.5 inch.
By the end of the class, students will be confident in using the ruler to create precise and stunning projects.

Take our Intro to Sewing, Part 1: Machine Basics class and our Intro to Sewing, Part 2: In the Sewing Room class before taking this class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
