Japanese Knot Bag
Learn to sew a cute and trendy Japanese Knot Bag in this fun and beginner-friendly class! We'll guide you through the steps of creating this stylish and functional bag, perfect for use as a handbag, game bag, gift bag, or lunch tote. To make your bag truly one-of-a-kind, you’ll also add decorative stitching to the front panel—choose a design that reflects your personality! By the end of class, you'll have a finished bag that’s as practical as it is adorable.
In this class, students will learn how to combine hand stitching with sewing machine techniques, gaining confidence in both. We'll also cover how to sew and turn the bag’s clever asymmetrical handle design, which gives the knot bag its signature look and function.
