Machine Embroidery: Garment Accents
When creating a garment piece to wear, you can completely change the look with embroidery accents from buttonhole designs, collar accents, continuous design embroidery, and patching embroidery.
In this class, we will explore machine embroidery as it pertains to garment piece accents. We will work with three fabric types - denim, cotton, and jersey knit. We will also explore 4 different scenarios common in garment construction - buttonholes, border stitching, collar construction, and patching holes with embroidery. We will also explore cutwork and quilting options when adding embroidery to garments.
PLEASE NOTE: This class requires an embroidery machine that has a USB port for file transfers to your machine. If yours does not support this, you may request to use one of our class machines. If you would like to use one of our floor model embroidery machines, please email us at education@urbanspools.com in advance of the class with your request.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you.
