Workshop: Sashiko Bear
Join us for a week-long adventure into the art of hand sashiko stitching! Over the course of five days, we will stitch this adorable teddy bear using a traditional Japanese embroidery technique, adding beautiful decorative touches along the way. Don't miss out on this creative journey!
In this class, students will learn how to create a variety of sashiko stitch patterns while stitching this adorable teddy bear. We'll also cover how to secure the stitches for a neat and durable finish. By the end of the week, students will leave with their very own finished stuffed bear!

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
