Sewing for Kids Beginner Project: Zipper Pouch
Ready, set, sew! In this beginner-friendly sewing class, kids will dive into the world of sewing with a hands-on project: a hungry little zipper pouch ready to gobble up all of their supplies.
All Sewing for Kids classes are designed for the beginning Sewist in mind! In each class, Students learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin and proper sewing room safety while making a fun project. In this class, the project is a zipper pouch which will allow Students to learn how to trace and cut out a pattern, work with stretch fur fabric, press fabric, practice sewing straight lines, and how to use a zipper foot to insert a zipper.
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the basics of your specific machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we will have a Baby Lock sewing machine available for use.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class.
