Sewing for Kids Beginner Project: Applique Pillow
Ready, set, sew! In this beginner-friendly sewing class, kids will dive into the world of sewing with a hands-on project: making a pillow cover with an appliqued letter.
All Sewing for Kids classes are designed for the beginning Sewist in mind! In each class, Students learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin and proper sewing room safety while making a fun project. In this class, the project is a pillow cover which will allow Students to learn how to use the straight stitch on a sewing machine and adjust stitch settings. They will also learn how to use applique paper on fabric and how to stitch down shapes.
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the basics of your specific machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we have the Baby Lock sewing machine available for use.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class.
