Sewing for Kids: Pillow Cover
Ready, set, sew! In this beginner-friendly sewing class, kids will dive into the world of sewing with a hands-on project: making a personalized pillow with decorative stitching.
All Sewing for Kids classes are designed for the beginning Sewist in mind! In each class, we start with learning how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin and proper sewing room safety. In this class, the project is a pillow cover which will allow Students to learn how to use all the stitches on a sewing machine, adjust stitch settings and practice creativity with stitch patterns.
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the basics of your specific machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we have the Baby Lock sewing machine available for use.

Cancellation Policy A Student may cancel a class registration via email (education@urbanspools.com) or by phone at 214-324-5755. Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
