Workshop: Hand Embroidery Jolly Jumpers
Join us for a week-long hand embroidery class where you’ll learn the art of hand-stitching to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Over the course of 5 days, you’ll discover how to transfer designs onto felt, apply a variety of hand embroidery stitches, and personalize each piece to make it uniquely yours. Whether you’re creating charming Christmas ornaments or a cherished bunting for the holidays, this class will teach you the skills to add your personal touch to your festive decor.

In this class, students will complete 5 unique sweaters using wool felt. Each day will focus on a different sweater, with an emphasis on learning and mastering a new hand embroidery stitch. The class will also explore stitches specifically designed for embellishing with beads and sequins, allowing you to add extra sparkle and texture to your creations. By the end of the week, you'll have five beautifully embroidered sweaters, each showcasing your growing embroidery skills.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
