Summer Camp: Get Started with Handwork Projects
Stitch with Style in our Handwork Sewing Camp! Slow down, get cozy, and explore the art of hand stitching in this beginner-friendly camp where students will be introduced to a variety of handwork techniques through fun, bite-sized projects they'll love to make and take home.
In this camp, you will try something new in handwork from cross stitch, hand embroidery, sashiko stitching, creative mending, and simple patchwork. Each day, you will learn how to work with needle and thread to create beautiful, functional, and expressive pieces.
This is a great way for young makers to build fine motor skills, patience, and confidence - all while discovering just how magical hand sewing can be.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024
2936 Reward Lane Dallas, TX 75220
We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
