Summer Camp: Intermediate Handwork Project - The Stuffed Bear!
It's a Stitch-a-Bear workshop in this Handwork Sewing Camp! Are you ready to take your hand sewing to the next level? Spend the week creating your very own hand-stitched bear - a lovable project that’s full of heart and handmade skills!
In this camp, you will implement a variety of handwork techniques - including embroidery, sashiko stitching, decorative patchwork, and creative mending — all while bringing a one-of-a-kind bear to life. Learn how to sew seams by hand, stuff and shape your creation, and add fun personal touches with stitching flair.
This is the ultimate project for kids who love sewing by hand and are excited to stitch something they’ll treasure forever!

| Skill Details: | Ages 8 - 14 Student must be comfortable with working on a single project over the span of a week rather than having a project completed in a single class. |

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024
2936 Reward Lane Dallas, TX 75220
We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
