Summer Camp: Intermediate Garment Sewing - The Button Up Shirt!
Calling all future fashion designers - create a Button Up Shirt to show off your unique style! Learn how to sew a button-up shirt from start to finish using a real garment pattern.
In this camp, you will learn essential sewing skills like reading a pattern, cutting out fabric, sewing seams, adding a collar, creating buttonholes, and attaching sleeves. It’s the perfect next step for young makers ready to take their sewing to the next level and build confidence at the machine.
Join us for a week of creativity, confidence, and sew much fun!

| Skill Details: | Ages 8 - 14 Student must be confident in winding a bobbin and threading a sewing machine and capable of sewing a straight line with a guide. Student must be comfortable with working on a single project over the span of a week rather than having a project completed in a single class. |

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
