Summer Camp: Intermediate Bags & Totes - The Backpack!
Get ready for a Backpack Builders Sewing Camp! Level up your skills and create something totally awesome - your very own backpack! You'll be sewing zippers, installing snaps, adding pockets, working with webbing, and shaping fabric like a pro. By the end of the week, you’ll walk away with a fully finished, one-of-a-kind backpack you made from scratch!
In this camp, you will be guided through a more advanced project of creating your very first backpack that will include zippers, pockets, snaps, and thicker webbing. All supplies are included—just bring your creativity and get ready to stitch up something epic!

| Skill Details: | Ages 8 - 14 Student must be confident in winding a bobbin and threading a sewing machine and capable of sewing a straight line with a guide. Student must be comfortable with working on a single project over the span of a week rather than having a project completed in a single class. |

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024
2936 Reward Lane Dallas, TX 75220
We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
