Beginner Sewing: Hemming Basics
Give your garments a clean, professional finish in this skill-building hemming class! You’ll learn four essential hemming techniques for pants, skirts, and more.
In this class, you will learn how to do a single-fold, double-fold, and blind hem for denim, pants, woven, and knit fabrics. With hands-on practice and guided instruction, you’ll build confidence choosing the right hem for every project and walk away with a sample of each type of hem to use as a handy reference at home.
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the basics of your specific machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we have the Baby Lock Presto II sewing machine available for use.
