Sewing for Kids Challenge Project: Lunch Bag
Create a modern Japanese rice bag and personalize it with hand-embroidered details through a multi-session project.
All Challenge classes are designed for Students who are ready to Level Up their sewing skills! Students should already be comfortable threading their machine, winding a bobbin, and sewing basic seams independently. We'll focus on precision, patience, and following construction steps as we work on one project across two class sessions.
In this class, the project is a modern Japanese rice bag which will allow Students to learn how to sew a fully constructed modern rice bag and learn beginner-friendly hand embroidery stitches for decorative accents.
