Sewing for Kids Challenge Project: Simple T-Shirt
Dive into the world of garment sewing with a hands-on project: making a t-shirt that will soon be their favorite! This project introduces the use of different needles and stretch stitches, and how to start working with actual garment patterns.
All Challenge classes are designed for Students who are ready to Level Up their sewing skills! Students should already be comfortable threading their machine, winding a bobbin, and sewing basic seams independently. We'll focus on precision, patience, and following construction steps as we work on one project across two class sessions.
In this class, the project is a simple t-shirt which will allow Students to learn how to use the stretch stitches on a sewing machine and adjust stitch settings. They will also learn how to use pins to set a collar and add in a label.
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the basics of your specific machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we have the Baby Lock sewing machine available for use.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class.
