Stitch Nation with Peggy Sagers
Stitch Nation is a membership-based garment sewing education program is hosted by Peggy Sagers of PBS’s Fit 2 Stitch and Silhouette Patterns It is designed to help you build garment sewing skills step-by-step in a clear and approachable format. Learn more about the Stitch Nation program.
As a host shop, Urban Spools will be streaming monthly lessons twice a month. You only need to attend one viewing each month. Choose whichever option works best for your schedule:
- 1st Wednesday of the Month at 6:30p with an optional sew-along on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 6:30p
- 1st Sunday of the Month at 2:00p with an optional sew-along on the 3rd Sunday of the Month at 2:00p
In the first session each month, Members of Stitch Nation will watch an exclusive 1-hour garment sewing lesson focused on fit, construction, and professional sewing techniques. After, you will have the option to:
- Purchase the featured Silhouette Pattern
- Purchase a replay/DVD version of the lesson for continued learning at home
- Shop Urban Spools with a member-only discount for supplies related to the project
In the optional second session each month, Members of Stitch Nation will have the option to join a sew-along in the Urban Spools classroom to work through the pattern of the month or ask questions of other participants.

Cancellation Policy A Student may cancel a class registration via email (education@urbanspools.com) or by phone at 214-324-5755. Although this class is free, please request a cancellation when you are unable to attend. If you miss a session without cancelling, all future Stitch Nation seat reservations will be cancelled.
