Block of the Month Subscriptions
Block of the Month (BOM) is a month-to-month sewing program for every skill level, from beginner to seasoned pro. Each month, you'll receive curated fabrics and expert guidance to complete a larger project. By the end of the subscription, you have a completed quilt top or garment collection!
Block of the Month Clubhouse
Join our Block of the Month Clubhouse virtual gathering to get updates on current Block of the Month programs and share completed segments as we work through projects together. You don't have to be participating in a current BOM to attend this meeting - all are welcome!
Billing & Shipping Options
You have two registration choices to participate in our BOM programs:
- Pre-Pay Option - paid upfront at a discounted rate
- Monthly Subscription Option - billed monthly
All BOM supplies are released month-by-month. On registration, you can opt to get your supplies via in-store pickup or shipping.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024
2936 Reward Lane Dallas, TX 75220
We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
