Flying South

This collection was based on the immediate surroundings of Claire Youngs. She is lucky to live in a house that looks down towards the sea, with the woodlands behind. She gets to see the ocean birds with the gulls flying over and woodland birds, like woodpeckers that come to the garden. Her studio looks out onto trees, and when she is at her desk, she loves to take a moment to enjoy the wild birds that come to visit.
