Forestburgh

After more than a decade in New York City, Heather recently moved with her family (and small herd of rescue animals) to Forestburgh, New York, a very small town in the Southern Catskills. Forestburgh might be small, but it has all of the things that she feels are important: a general store that serves up friendship, excellent cookies, and a good IPA, a volunteer fire department (that's the way you know that you are among good people) and a dependable rope swing over clean, clear water.
Prints in this collection are inspired by Heather's daily life in Forestburgh: the pair of fawns that frequent the woods surrounding her studio, the apple trees that mark long ago homesteads, and the thick carpet of clover that makes for excellent barefoot afternoons wandering her own unkempt gardens. A bit more serious than many of her past collections, Forestburgh includes moody, earthy colors punctuated with bright greens and yellows.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
