High Flight is so near and dear to my heart, as it’s a tribute to my former career as a corporate pilot and a nod to my dear Air Force pilot husband. This collection focuses more on the general aviation realm rather than airliners or military—each airplane silhouette is of a plane I’ve flown personally…from aerobatic racers to turbo-props. My trademark FMQ doodles are evident in the swirly wind; logbook entries with actual airport identifiers and completed flight maneuvers; and both hero prints…a Low Chart, which is a pilot’s road map in the sky, and also my lap board of aeronautical notes. So get your flight plan filed—I can’t wait to take off on this trip with you!
