Laura C. Moyer grew up near the beach in New Jersey, and now lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two children. Laura graduated with a BS in Graphic Design from Pennsylvania University. Color and texture are Laura's favorite ingredients, and she always loves a clever concept to build a piece around. The work of mid-century illustrators is incredibly inspiring to Laura, when colors were bold yet unexpected, and shapes were simple. While she loves illustrating colorful flowers, cozy buildings, and anything to do with the sea, Laura finds it equally exciting to try something complete new. |

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
