Mia Charro
Mia Charro grew up in a small house surrounded by nature in the North of Spain. She has 6 siblings and it was common for them to run through fields and climb trees. They also had lots of cats and dogs which she loved so much. Mia is very grateful for her "wild" and natural childhood. She loved to draw, paint and write her own stories and can say that her imagination was very vivid.
Mia's principal source of inspiration is nature: plants, animals, the stars... Do you remember the last time you spent ten minutes watching the starry night? It was spectacular, wasn't it? Looking at the sky above our heads charges out batteries more than anything else! It is really inspiring for Mia.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Temp Location starting June 1, 2024

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
