Space Dyeing is a process used to dye yarns with multiple color effects. Also known as Dipped Dyeing, this method results in fabric with varying shades of color and beautiful texture. This collection offers 16 color themes that will pair up with your existing stash and work super well with variegated threads for quilting. It's a great alternative to using solid fabrics to add more depth to your project. The soft hand feel and drape of this woven fabric also makes it suitable for garment sewing.

Urban Spools is Moving!
After 10 years in Casa Linda Plaza, we are moving on to a bigger and better location! But, this relocation will happen in 2 phases.

We are now open for business in our temporary home approximately 1 mile from Mr Sewing Machine in West Dallas at 2936 Reward Lane. Here, we will continue to offer the products and services you expect from Urban Spools - Baby Lock sewing machines, modern fabric, patterns, sewing classes, longarm quilting services, and machine repair services.
Phase 2: NEW Location for 2025

Early 2025, we will open our new permanent home back in East Dallas. Our new location will offer more retail space, additional classroom capacity, and an overall better location experience to better serve you. We will keep you all informed with dates and details on our website, social media, and at our temp location so stay tuned!
