Stitch Nation with Peggy Sagers

We are excited to bring Stitch Nation to Urban Spools! This private, membership-based garment sewing education program is hosted by Peggy Sagers of PBS’s Fit 2 Stitch and Silhouette Patterns.
Each month, Members will gather at Urban Spools to watch an exclusive 1-hour garment sewing lesson focused on fit, construction, and professional sewing techniques. These lessons are designed to help you build garment sewing skills step-by-step in a clear and approachable format.
After each lesson:
- Members may purchase the featured Silhouette Pattern
- Members may also purchase a replay/DVD version of the lesson for continued learning at home
- Urban Spools will also host an optional sew-along companion class to practice techniques together
Monthly Viewing Times
Each monthly lesson is shown twice at Urban Spools. You only need to attend one viewing each month.
Choose whichever option works best for your schedule:
- 1st Wednesday of the Month at 6:30p with the optional sew-along on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 6:30p
- 1st Sunday of the Month at 2:00p with the optional sew-along on the 3rd Sunday of the Month at 2:00p
How Registration Works
Step 1: Join Stitch Nation
Customers register for Stitch Nation with Urban Spools Sewing Lounge as their host shop location.
This membership gives you access to:
- Monthly exclusive lessons
- Featured pattern ordering
- Replay/DVD purchase options
- Private Q&A access with Peggy Sagers
- Exclusive discounts to various online retailers for sewing supplies
With Urban Spools as your host shop, we are also including these additional benefits:
- Exclusive discount at Urban Spools for supplies related to your monthly project.
- Exclusive access to an optional sew-along class held two weeks after the viewing where Members can work through the monthly project together.
- Exclusive access to a dedicated Slack channel to keep the conversation going throughout the month. This is especially helpful if you have to miss a viewing but still want to participate for the month.
Step 2: Reserve Your Seat at Urban Spools
Customers should also register to reserve a seat for each monthly viewing.
Can I Attend Without Joining Stitch Nation?
Yes! You are welcome to attend a monthly viewing at Urban Spools even if you are not officially enrolled in Stitch Nation.
However, only official Stitch Nation Members will be able to:
- Purchase the featured monthly pattern
- Purchase the replay/DVD lesson access
