Join us as we sew along with the Alison Glass Team in the 2023 Trinket Sew Along!

Urban Spools is offering curated fabric bundles and Trinket Sew In events for participants.

The Trinket Sew Along 2023

The Alison Glass Sew Along event will run from the end of March until the end of June, with sewing starting the first week of April. All official participants who sign up through the Alison Glass Trinket sign-up listing will receive a participation patch, and finishers will receive a finisher pin. Their Team will also provide instruction for each block and exciting giveaways each week of the program!

The Trinket Quilt Pattern, Second Edition

There are new updates to the Trinket Quilt Pattern in their second edition. It still contains 40 foundation paper pieced 4" blocks in four categories: lines, shapes, things, and life. technique. The 2023 second edition also includes additions and updates, such as a gallery of quilts, an alternate layout option, a coloring/block arranging sheet, the 2019 bonus block, and extra tips.

New to Foundation Paper Piecing?

The Trinket sewing pattern uses foundation paper piecing. It's super easy to learn! There will be detailed instructions included with the Trinket SAL once you register with the Alison Glass Team (see the Trinket Sew Along page on AlisonGlass.com). But, if you prefer to learn in a class before this Sew Along begins, check out our Intro to Foundation Paper Piecing class. 

In addition, participation in the Trinket Sew In sessions (details below) will also allow you to visit with others in our sewing Community who can also serve as a resource if you do get stuck on a specific block. 

Trinket Sew Along Curated Bundle 

The Urban Spools Team has created a Trinket Sew Along Curated Bundle. The bundle includes 1 fat quarter of all prints in the upcoming Alison Glass Wildflowers collection plus an additional 10 Alison Glass coordinating prints from previous collections. In addition, we will also include 1 3/4 yds of Essex Linen in Charcoal for the background fabric.

Trinket Sew In at Urban Spools

Join us at our shop for a Trinket Sew In! Throughout April, May, and June, we are offering a Sew In to work through all 40 blocks during the Trinket Sew Along event. In each session, you will have access to use our classroom space to sew, shop fabrics for your trinkets, and work with our Community on any questions you may have as you work through each of Alison’s Trinket blocks. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a class and no formal instruction is provided in these sessions.

You have two options for registering for Trinket Sew In sessions. You can either register for one session or register for a membership which will include all six sessions, the 2nd Edition Trinket Quilt Pattern and the Alison Glass Trinket Sew Along Curated Bundle.
